Big Winner: $1M Powerball Ticket Sold at Michigan Restaurant
Going out to dinner is awesome but going out to dinner and winning a million bucks feels like, well, a million bucks.
A diner at a restaurant in Van Buren County bought the winning ticket for the March 1 drawing, and that ticket turned out to be worth $1 million.
$1 Million Winning Powerball Ticket Sold at Michigan Restaurant
The winning ticket matched all five white numbers drawn in the March 1, 2025 drawing. Those numbers are 2, 23,36, 44, and 49. According to Mlive, the ticket was purchased at Big T restaurant in Lawton, Michigan. Lawton is located on Michigan's west side, about 20 miles southwest of Kalamazoo.

The ticket holder now has one year (from the date of the drawing) to claim their $1 million prize.
No one matched the five white balls and the Powerball, meaning there were no $2 million winners and no one cashed in for the entire Powerball jackpot. Monday's (3/3) Powerball jackpot is now estimated to be worth $279 million.

Winning Powerball Ticket Sold at Michigan Kroger Store Expiring Soon
Another big Powerball ticket worth $250,000 is dangerously close to expiring. The ticket, sold at a Kroger store in Bloomfield Hills, was sold on March 11, 2024, and will expire if not cashed in by March 11 of this year.
If that jackpot is not claimed at the Michigan Lottery office in Lansing before it expires, that prize money will automatically go into the Michigan School Aid Fund.
