On Friday we told the gents about the "Burgers, Brews and Dudes" event benefiting local charities. Today it's the ladies turn with the upcoming "Wine, Women and Chocolate."

The ninth annual "Wine, Women and Chocolate" takes place at IMA Brookwood Golf Course in Burton and will feature a 5K course for snow shoeing, cross country skiing and walking. Along the course there will be hospitality tents set up with coffee, tea, soup, chocolate and wine. Afterwards ladies will be able to relax while getting pampered with mini-massages, manicures and more!

Proceeds raised from the event will benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Flint and the IMA Recreation Association which is a non-profit that offers recreational activities for kids and adults of Genesee County.

The ninth annual "Wine, Women and Chocolate" event takes places February 8th from 1-6 p.m. Cost is just $50 for the day of fun and excitement. For more information or to register, go to www.winewomenandchocolate.org.
