The BIG10 regular season ended with Michigan State upsetting Michigan, but Michigan could get a chance at revenge in the BIG10 Tournament.

Michigan State needed to be the Wolverines on Sunday to secure a spot in the NCAA Tournament. The win pretty much guarantees that the MSU tournament streak will stay in place, but now they have to focus on the BIG10 Tournament. If the regular season taught us anything, it's that there are no easy games in the BIG10.

The BIG10 Tournament actually begins on Wednesday with the lowest seeds playing their way in. Michigan State will take the court on Thursday the 11th against Maryland. MSU comes into the tournament as the 9 seed, and Maryland is the 8 seed. Michigan State lost to Maryland a couple of weeks ago, so they'll be looking to get a little revenge.

You can watch Michigan State and Maryland on Thursday March 11th on the Big Ten Network, tipoff is at 11:30am.

If Michigan State stays hot, and is able to beat Maryland things get interesting. Michigan is waiting for the winner of the Michigan State, Maryland game in the 3rd round. Michigan is the obvious #1 seed in the tournament, but they have also dropped two big games in the last couple of weeks. One of those losses happened against arch rival, Michigan State on Sunday.

If Michigan and Michigan State end up playing each other on Friday, the game will be on the Big Ten Network at 11:30am. This will be an interesting matchup considering the teams will be playing for the third time in less than two weeks. The first matchup was dominated by Michigan, which is what most people expected. The second matchup, MSU was able to pull off the upset and secure a place in the NCAA tournament.

So what will happen if the two meet up again?! That's the question basketball fans in Michigan are hoping to answer on Thursday.

Either way we know that the BIG10 Tourney will feature some great basketball, with a majority of the teams moving on to the NCAA tournament. You can see the complete tournament schedule here.
