General Motors says it's developing an electric car with a range of 200 miles. Would that get you to buy one?The automaker says by 2017, it will have a half million hybrid and pure electric cars on the road. GM is working on two all-electric models with extended range. Right now, the plug-in Chevy Spark can go about 75 miles on a charge. The Chevy Volt gets around 35 miles on a charge. The upcoming Cadillac ELR will have similar numbers.
