Wedding DJ Takes Cake In The Face [VIDEO]

I have been DJing weddings, graduation open houses and other events since I was a teenager, so many events that I stopped counting at 1,000.  For the past two summers, I have worked through local event service powerhouse Black Tie Productions.  One of the things that the owner, Craig Center, asks us to do is get a picture with our bride and groom.  For me this has gone from a simple task on a checklist to a fun challenge that I look forward to.

The picture above is one of my favorites.  The bride is wearing my headphones, the groom is on the microphone, and there I am taking a nap holding the bouquet.  In fact, I won a contest with that photo.

Just a few weeks ago, I came up with an idea while working with Sara and Cody at their wedding.  Since you always see the bride and groom smashing cake into each other's faces, I decided to let them take aim at me.  However, I had no idea that we were being video taped at the time.  That being said, watch me get a sweet-tasting makeover from the bride and groom.
