WDBJ Remembers Slain Staff Members in Touching Tributes [VIDEOS]

Numb from the events that unfolded Wednesday morning (8/26) when a disgruntled former employee shot and killed two colleagues, staffers at TV station WDBJ fondly remember Alison Parker and Adam Ward.

In the first video below, coworkers refer to Parker and Ward as unfailingly positive, relentlessly hard-working, and say they never shied away from challenges. We're also including (second video below) a promotional video, recorded by the station earlier this year, that takes a personal look at Alison Parker's life, hobbies, and family.

We simply can't imagine. As a broadcaster of more than 30 years, I've become part of a network of friends who work in radio and TV all across the country, and have a teenage son who has begun to dabble in broadcasting, and simply can't comprehend what staffers at WDBJ are going through, and will carry with them for the rest of their lives. Our thoughts and prayers go out to them, and the families of Alison Parker and Adam Ward.
