The Macomb County Sheriff's Department has released a video of deputies rescuing a dog from a burning house in Mount Clemons.

The two-minute video posted on the department's Facebook page shows deputies breaking down the door to the lower level apartment of the home. Everyone in the home's upper-level residence had already been evacuated, but deputies heard the sounds of a dog in the home's lower half.

Detroit's WXYZ reports that the dog was safely returned to its owners and firefighters were able to extinguish the flames.
