UK Shoe Salesman Goes The Extra Mile for Autistic Boy – The Good News [PHOTO]
"Autism acceptance at it's best!!"
Obviously, we're biased - our son is high functioning on the autism spectrum. We can absolutely relate to this mom, Gem Salter, who took her son River shopping at a Clarks Shoes store in Somerset County, England. Obviously, with school approaching, the store was completely packed. This made her nervous, because like most kids who have ASD, her son gets upset over loud noises and crowded environments.
She explained the situation to one of the sales guys, Aaran Daniels. He led them to a separate room and put a "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door, and helped River find a new pair of shoes.
Aaran also said he'd help when River grows out of this pair of shoes. LOVE this story <3
