Two Intersections in Genesee County Will Become Roundabouts

We live pretty close to one of these, so let me be the first to say THANK GOD!

Yeah, yeah, yeah...we can already hear the moans and groans. But if you're like us, and you live by one of these nightmare-ish intersections, you might understand why this is needed.

Genesee County will be getting two more new roundabouts: one in Grand Blanc Township and the other in Gaines.

The intersections of Hill and Belsay, in front of the Rite-Aid, and the intersection of Grand Blanc and Morrish roads will both be turned into roundabouts.

Federal funding will cover most of the Grand Blanc project, and state funding will cover all of the Gaines project.
