Two Deaths This Week on Train Tracks in Fenton

Two tragedies in one week in Fenton, one involving and unidentified man and another involving a high school student.

We feel awful for the family and friends of these two. What a horrific week in Fenton.

15-year-old Victoria Lane, a freshman at Fenton High School, was struck and killed by a train while walking on the tracks between the Main and Lemen Street crossings on Monday afternoon.

The school has released a letter about it and is offering counseling. A GoFundMe page has been set up for her family.

Yesterday, a 63-year-old man was found dead under the 23 overpass near Silver Lake and North roads, near the tracks. Authorities say that he was hit by a train.
