Tortoise and Baby Bunny Become BFF’s at Arizona Hotel

Let's just get the "tortoise and the hare" joke out of the way at the beginning.

First of all, let's talk about how the Ritz-Carlton Dove Mountain in Arizona has a pet African tortoise named Wamba. They do. He lives there. And one morning a couple of weeks ago, a baby desert cottontail rabbit showed up in Wamba's enclosure.

They had been cuddled up all night.

The bunny was in bad shape, with debris wrapped around its neck. As the resort ranger tried to help the bunny, he said that Wamba started grunting - obviously distressed that he was taking his new friend away from him.

The bunny is now receiving vet care and is doing well. Can somebody write a children's book about these two please?
