Tom Hanks’ David S. Pumpkins Inserted Into Every Classic Horror Movie [VIDEO]

Nobody knows why this character is so funny...it just is. 
Last weekend, Tom Hanks hosted Saturday Night Live for the ninth time. As a lifelong Hanks and SNL fan, I was a little bit disappointed with the episode overall - I thought the writing wasn't strong enough for an actor as legendary as Tom Hanks. However, this sketch had me laughing out loud, and I don't know why.

And, of course, people are are coming up with their own parodies - like inserting David S. Pumpkins into horror movies. The costume itself has sold out online, and even Tom and his wife Rita are surprised at how popular the sketch was.
