If you are like me, you took advantage of the nice weather we had over the Easter weekend to get some things done outside.

For my wife and I, that meant starting the seeds that will become our garden this year.  The main patch of ground that we will be planting is still pretty soggy, so that will have to wait.  In the meantime, we started our seeds in potting soil that we hope to transplant 3 to 4 weeks from now when the danger of frost should be behind us.  We also planted peas, carrots and onions in the garden spaces that are not underwater as they are more tolerant of cold weather, plus you can plant them again later for another crop in the fall.  It's pretty easy and inexpensive to grow delicious food no matter how much space you have.  Not many things taste better than something you grew yourself!  There's still time to get growing....
