As David Rose would say, "Oh my GOD!"

Is there a name for Schitt's Creek fans yet? Are we...Schitters? If so, I'll proudly take on that title.

Well, Schitters, you could possibly the proud owner of a piece of Canadian history - the Rosebud Motel featured in the show will be up for sale by next month, giving us all just enough time to pool our money together, right?

According to housebeautiful.com, the actual Rosebud Motel is on Hockley Road in Orangeville, Ontario, CA. It was purchased in 2011 by Jesse Tipping. His original intent was to provide housing for players for Canada’s prep school basketball program. Jamal Murray of the Denver Nuggets and Miami Heat training camp invitee Kyle Alexander were both guests off the motel.

The motel had already appeared in a movie called A History of Violence and a TV show called 11.22.63 when the production crew for Schitt's Creek began renting it for exterior shots (interior shots were filmed in a Toronto studio) for one month every year for the last six years.

Although it was never actually used as a motel, it was listed on Airbnb, and fans of the show took notice and booked their rooms.

Tipping had planned on selling it earlier this year, but the COVID-19 pandemic took over the world and his plans were pushed. However, he partnered with a local organization during the pandemic to give people space to quarantine.

There's no asking price...yet. I'm gonna go start counting my change jar, y'all.
