The Official Trailer for Ghostbusters Reboot Is Here [VIDEO]

...and we're pleasantly surprised. Are you interested in seeing it?

I'll admit it, I'm a Ghostbusters purist. I grew up on the original two movies (and yes, unlike most hardcore fans, I loved the second film as well), and I fully admit that I was NOT HAPPY when I heard that they were rebooting the franchise....with women. I'm a woman, and even I couldn't get behind the concept. How can you replace Dr. Venkman, Egon, Ray and Winston?

You can't. And, after watching the new official trailer, it doesn't appear as though they're trying to. If we want nostalgia, we can go back to the original films. I think I'm on board to check this out! Plus, it would be cool to take our son to see it, considering that I saw the second film in theaters with my parents. Plus, Leslie Jones is one of my favorites.

The film hits theaters on July 15th.
