The Michigan State Police Are on a Mission to Rescue Christmas
Doing with first responders and local heroes do, the Michigan State Police are on a mission to rescue Christmas.
This year the holiday season is going to be harder than usual for many due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. There is a need in our community to make sure our children have a very Merry Christmas.
Again this year the Michigan State police is partnering with ELGA Credit Union for their annual Stuff a Blue Goose event. The goal is to stock the shelves of the Salvation Army Toy Shop.
This years event, the 8th year, will take place on Friday, December 4, 2020. The Michigan State Police (MSP) Flint Post, in conjunction with ELGA Credit Union, the Salvation Army, Cars 108, and Banana Rocks 101.5, will be hosting.
Knowing that the need this year will be greater than ever, the event will be collecting unwrapped toys and monetary donations to spread holiday cheer and help the families and children right here in our community.
This year there will also be a new and safe contactless ways to donate and support the big event. You can text the word ELGA to 41444 or go to ELGACU.com and make a donation.
Donations will be accepted in person on December 4th at the following locations by MSP members and other volunteers between 8am and 6pm:
