The Good News: ‘Bra Fairy’ Collects 40,000 Items for Homeless Women [VIDEO]
So far, she's collected over 8,000 bras and almost 30,000 feminine hygiene products.
Dana Marlowe is a mother of two, and also runs an advocacy company for the disabled. Since homeless shelters don't often receive bra donations or feminine hygiene products, she decided to start an organization called Support The Girls. She takes the donated women's items and delivers them to homeless shelters in Washington D.C.
As a fellow woman, I wish I could "like" this a million times. We don't get to pick our gender when we're born, and being born a woman can come with a monthly set of issues. Bless her heart!
