Let the fake outrage begin.

Controversial player Colin Kaepernick is planning to audition for NFL teams on Saturday at a workout in Atlanta.

He tweeted about it, saying "I've been in shape and ready for this for 3 years, can't wait to see the head coaches and GMs on Saturday."

Kaepernick hasn't played in the league since 2016. The league gave teams a 2-hour window to accept the invite to the workout, and the Detroit Lions have confirmed that they will be in attendance.

Coach Matt Patricia said, "As an organization, we always do our due diligence on players that are available."
