Ruth Johnson, Michigan's Secretary of State estimates that nearly a million people signed up to be organ donors in 2011 and 2012, but the need is still so great! Can you help?

The Race For Chase 5k/10k and Kids' race this Saturday morning in Millington is about much more than running.  Chase Coleman passed away in 2003 after a car accident, and at that difficult time his family had to make a decision that would impact many others.

I am an Organ Donor.  Or I should say that someday I will be.  When I renewed my Michigan driver's license I let the Secretary of State office know that I want to donate my organs and tissue when I die.  My driver's license has a little red heart emblem and the word "Donor" enscribed on it.  Right now, there are over 3000 people in Michigan waiting for an organ
