I-75 construction

A lane closure on southbound I-75 near Flint is expected to cause delays through June 12. The work is part of a $6.9 million resurfacing project scheduled to continue through September.

I-75 in Genesee County will see lane closures and delays from June 1–8 for pavement repairs. Plan alternate routes as the project limits traffic flow and shoulder access.

Everything has a tradeoff. This project seems necessary and like it would create more traffic congestion.

The Zilwaukee Bridge is a little sister to the Mighty Mac. At nearly 40 years in service, we should start planning for future maintenance.

If it's not winter in Michigan, it's construction season.
