For the second year in a row, Swartz Creek Schools are hosting summer food distributions, providing a week's worth of meals for children throughout the area.

The Burton Fire Department is doing a holiday food drive to try and provide for the less fortunate families in our community. Their goal is to make sure that families have a holiday meal at Christmastime. They are collecting non-perishable food items every Saturday through December 15th. There is also a little something for you if you donate.

Holy Spirit Lutheran Church in Grand Blanc will once again distribute free food to the area's needy families this Saturday. The church offers free food provided by the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan. In each of the last three months, 250 families have been served, each receiving a generous amount of groceries...
