Michigan high school students have the opportunity to have their artwork displayed at the U.S. Capitol for an entire year.

Looking for a great local art show? Here's one for you! The Lapeer Art Association presents "Spring Goes On" beginning May 15th through June 16th . It's an all-media, all-gallery exhibit.

Coming on Saturday, November 5th , it's the 34th Annual Holly Holiday Art and Craft Show. It runs from 9am till 4pm at Holly High School. There is a $2 admission charge with free parking.

The second Friday night of every month is Artwalk from 6-9 pm in downtown Flint.  The event is FREE and is staged at several different downtown locations.  Best place to start is the Greater Flint Arts Council on Saginaw Street.
