I have to admit there have been times I would have loved to have called 911 regarding a screwed up order but never have. A Hartford, Connecticut man did just that. The dispatcher remains calm and listens to Rother McLennon. After McLennon is done with his rant the dispatcher offers some advice 'dont buy it'. Talk about a bizarre beer run. The AP is reporting that Raymond Roberge of Bridgeport, CT, dialed 911 three times on Sunday. When authorities finally showed up to his house, the 65-year-old man gave them money "to go to the store and buy him some beer."

A 44-year-old woman in Florida called 911 at least four times because she was mad about her manicure and ended up going to jail.  She was eventually released once she posted bond.

Our holiday party was Saturday and much to my surprise, they found the copy of the 911 call I made when the building was on fire.  I couldn't believe they actually played it, even after a couple of my co-workers told me they wouldn't do that!
