Student Doctors Go to Detroit Once a Week to Help Homeless – The Good News

They're like the Post Office - regardless of the weather, they're out on the streets.

The program is called Detroit Street Care, and it's a partnership between Michigan State and Wayne State University's medicine programs.

They want to bridge the gap between the homeless and healthcare by providing a mobile unit.
