You've probably already composed your letter of resignation (at least in your head), anticipating your big win in tonight $1.2 billion Powerball Jackpot.

But where are the winning tickets being sold? There's actually one little party store in Comstock Park that has the reputation for being the luckiest little lottery store in Michigan. As of 2021, the retailer had sold eight tickets (in a 15-year period) that had netted customers big jackpots totaling about $62 million.

Seven $1 Million Tickets in Just a Few Months

But what about 2022? In just the last few months, seven Michigan residents have walked away with million-dollar wins from seven different stores.

Let's take a look.

CVS Pharmacy in Traverse City - Nobody won the big kahuna, the $1 billion jackpot Monday (10/31) but one player matched enough Powerball balls to win a $1 million prize.

Shell Gas Station in New Buffalo - A $1 million winning ticket was sold just ahead of Saturday's (10/29) Powerball drawing. This was one of two tickets here in Michigan that matched all five white balls.

Billy's Liquor Depot in Redford - The other big winner on Saturday was sold at a liquor store in Redford.

Shell Gas Station in Dearborn - Last week, one lucky player matched the five white balls, which paid off with a $1 million prize from the Michigan Lottery. (Five other players also matched in California, Connecticut, Illinois, and New York.)

Otsego Party Store - Mark Brooks picked up a cool million bucks playing the Powerball on September 24.

Meijer Gas Station in Sterling Heights - A Sterling Heights lottery club found a Powerball ticket they had forgotten about and cashed in earlier this year for $1 million.

Quality Dairy in Lansing - A Holt resident cashed in for $1 million this summer. Jamieson King tells the Michigan Lottery he didn't check the numbers until a friend told him that a million-dollar winning ticket had been sold at the QD where he'd purchased his ticket.
