If you remember correctly, his original confession was from a therapy session that was recorded by his estranged wife. Now, he's speaking publicly. Ugh. THE PASTOR FROM 7TH HEAVEN! Yes, I grew up with that show. This is hard for me to even type. Actor Stephen Collins is publicly admitting to sexually abusing underage girls, some as far back as forty years ago.

He released a written statement to People magazine, and he'll go public with his confession tomorrow with Katie Couric on 20/20. The interview will air on ABC.

In his statement, he says that the media release of the recording resulted in "assumptions" that went "way beyond" what actually happened. He tells People magazine, "Forty years ago, I did something terribly wrong that I deeply regret. I have been working to atone for it ever since."

I've already got the interview scheduled to record on the DVR. *sigh*
