Spending time in public is challenging for Ashley England and her family. Her son Riley is a special needs child, and his frustration with being unable to communicate verbally sometimes leads to outbursts. The other night Ashley and her family tried to enjoy dinner out at a local pizzeria, and as expected, 8-year-old Riley threw Ashley's phone and began to scream. What happened after that, however, was completely unexpected.

As the family prepared to leave, the waitress approached the table. "I'll try to do this without crying," she told the family. "But another customer has paid for your bill tonight and wanted me to give you this note."

The note read: "God only gives special children to special people."
