Teachers, you could spend your summer at Sleeping Bear Dunes AND get paid for it.

It's called the Teacher-Ranger-Teacher program, and it's a nationwide "professional development opportunity" for educators to do some hands-on work during the summer.

Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore is looking to hire two TRTs for eight weeks this summer - June to August. The two teachers selected will work alongside park interpreters, rangers, law enforcement officers and more for two months.

The program includes a $3,000 stipend, housing in the park, graduate credits and more.

Right now, they're looking for a middle-to-high-school teacher who teaches science. For more information, click HERE.
