To trick-or-treat or not to trick-or-treat? That is the question a lot of parents are asking themselves. I understand if you don't want to take your kids from house to house, but your don't have to cancel Halloween all together. There is a way for you to feel comfortable and safe, and your kids will still get candy.

Shea Automotive Group is hosting a drive thru trunk-or-treat on Saturday, October 31st, from noon to 3:00 PM. Families are to stay in the comfort of their own vehicle, and still have a trick-or-treat experience. This drive thru Halloween event will be a no contact event. All you need to do is pop your trunk, and place a trick or treating bag(s) inside of it. Volunteers will place candy in the bags, and all volunteers will be in gloves and masks. Trust me, there will be plenty of treats - Security Credit Union donated 400 pounds of candy for the event.

If you are planning on attending this event, please note that you are asked to enter the dealership at the Shea Mega Lot entrance off of Linden Road, and drive through the parking lot where you will see numerous car trunks decorated.

Even if you are planning on to trick-or-treat with your kids Halloween night, you can still be a part of this event. There are quite a few Halloween events this week throughout Genesee County. For more on that, click here.

One last thing, if you are staying home to hand out candy, you are being asked to put out a purple pumpkin as a sign that you are down to clown. Full disclosure, I think a porch light turned on will do the trick. Happy Halloween.

GUESS WHAT!

If your Halloween plans have been cancelled due to "unprecedented circumstances", don't worry, Shea...
