
‘Saturday Night Live’ Opens Show With Tribute To Newtown Shooting Victims
In a rare departure from its comedic opening, 'Saturday Night Live' started the show with a children's choir singing "Silent Night," to pay tribute to those killed at Sandy Hook Elementary School.
The candle’s flame flickered and danced, representing loss and sadness, reflection and hope. Children began singing “Silent Night.”
