Saginaw Filmmaker Lands Paranormal Show on Travel Channel
The very first episode was shot right here in the mitt.
Steve Shippy grew up in Grayling and can remember seeing shadow people when he was a kid. He also woke up with burns and scratches on his body; needless to say, his fascination with the paranormal has been lifelong and he's turned it into a career.
He's already produced four films about hauntings right here in Michigan, and now the Travel Channel has picked up a series with him called Haunting in the Heartland.
The show, which debuts in February, will hit six different locations throughout the Midwest, including a home just west of Saginaw in Merrill.
The first episode airs on February 21st at 10 PM ET on the Travel Channel.
