Rick Mahorn Bringing ‘Bad Boys’ Comedy Show To Lapeer
I knew former Detroit Red Wings player Darren McCarty did comedy, but I had no idea former Detroit Pistons forward Rick Mahorn has a side hustle as an entertainer too, did you? Either way, we know now and we can see him perform this summer in Lapeer.
Rick Mahorn is coming to Flanagan's Pub in downtown Lapeer on Thursday, June 30th, and he is bringing some funny friends along with him including Lapeer's own Sean Patrick and Dustin Cole. The evening will consist of a great night of comedy tales from the Bad Boys era, a definite must-see show for any Detroit Pistons fan.
I love the fact that sports figures like Darren McCarty and in this instance, Rick Mahorn take their stories on the road to share with fans. I definitely remember the Detroit Pistons 'Bad Boys' era. I am really looking forward to hearing Rick talk about himself as well as fellow 'Bad Boys' Isiah Thomas, Dennis Rodman, Bill Laimbeer, Joe Dumars, John Sally, Adrian Dantley, and others. This is going to be great.
Rick Mahorn played for the Detroit Pistons from 1985 to 1989. After his years with Detroit, he played with the Philidelphia 76ers from 1989 to 1991. Mahorn is currently a radio analyst for the Detroit Pistons.
Tickets to the event range from $20 to $30 and can be purchased here. Believe me when I tell you there is not a bad seat in the house at Flanagan's Pub. Shout out to owner Aaron Corneail for continuing to bring big-name acts to Lapeer.
I look forward to seeing you at the show.
