Reminder: You Have 30 Days Left to Sign Up For Healthcare
If you're not covered under your employer or you get your insurance elsewhere, you have 30 days to sign up for the ACA.
Open enrollment runs through December 15th, which is ONE MONTH from today. One of the positives is that no one can be turned down for health insurance based on their personal medical history.
One of the negatives is that they don't make it particularly easy to sign up. It's time consuming, so be prepared for that.
There are several tiers that you can choose from, which will affect the price you pay:
Platinum -- covers approximately 90% of health care costs
Gold -- covers approximately 80% of health care costs
Silver -- covers approximately 70% of health care costs
Bronze –- covers approximately 60% of health care costs
