A New Orleans rapper finally paid off his student loans with gigantic lender Sallie Mae, and made a music video to celebrate.

Dee-1 graduated from Louisiana State University in 2009 and got a job as a middle school teacher for two years, before he decided to pursue music.

“It’s really a part of my life journey,” said Dee-1, whose real name is David Augustine, Jr. “So many people can relate to it. I’ve had conversations with friends who went to college, and Sallie Mae would always come up. I wanted to make it a fun, celebratory anthem to motivate people.”

This could definitely be the anthem for a new generation!
