It's a Labor Day party that's sure to be a grand slam hit. Traverse City is about to take running the bases to a whole new level you won't want to miss.

"Party Between the Lines" is set to rock Traverse City Labor Day weekend with a full line-up of stellar performances. The Labor Day music event is being held at Turtle Creek Stadium, home to the Traverse City Pit Spitters baseball team, hence the event name "Party Between the Lines" of the field.

The concert series event is planned to celebrate the unofficial end of summer with two days of amazing music, The event is set to kick off on Saturday, September 2nd, and continue through Sunday, September 3rd.

Taking the stage on Saturday will be one of the best-selling hip-hop artists of all time, Nelly. Sharing the spotlight on Saturday will also be Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter Ashanti. Gates open at 5:30 pm for Saturday's concerts.

On Sunday the entertainment continues with REO Speedwagon bringing their decades of timeless tunes to the Turtle Creek Stadium stage. As the night continues, one of the greatest female rockers in the world, Joan Jett along with The Blackhearts will shake the stands. Gates will once again open at 5:30 pm for those shows.

Tickets are currently on sale for all shows, and pricing starts at $60 for standard reserved seats with several VIP options available.
