Pure Bliss Hosts Cut-a-Thon for Wigs for Michigan Kids – The Good News
Not only that, but it was organized by a 15-year-old.
Sidnii Griggs donated her hair for the first time when she was 8-years-old. Since then, she's been working with the Michigan-based non-profit Wigs 4 Kids, which provides free wigs to kids who need them up to the age of 18-years-old.
She helped to organize a cut-a-thon at Pure Bliss Salon & Spa in Mundy Township over the weekend. Some people donated their hair, others donated money. One donor had 24-inches of hair cut off!
Sidnii's mom said that they collected enough hair this weekend to make one wig for somebody who needs it. Way to be proactive, Sidnii!
