"If 4-year-olds can be nice to each other, why can't adults?"

The littles in Pre-K at Greensboro Elementary School in Alabama have a wonderful way to start the day - with a fist bump, a hug, a smile or a handshake. Every student chooses their own greeting when they get to school in the morning.

Their teacher, Mrs. Collins, says that she wants to create a "school family." Every day, one child gets their turn to be a "greeter." The greeter wears an apron with their choice of greeting for that morning.

Their morning routine helps the kids to feel loved and safe at school, according to Mrs. Collins.

Ummmmmm...brb. I have to email our general manager to see if we can do this at work every day.
