One very special young boy had the birthday party of his dreams thanks to local first responders and a loving community.

Johnny, who is 13, sent a special invitation inviting the police and fire departments to his birthday party this weekend. Without hesitation, they came out in numbers to put a big smile on this lucky boy's face. ( Check out his sweet invite below)

Representatives from the Michigan State Police, Genesee County Sheriff's Department, Flushing Township Police, Mott Community College Police, Davison-Richfield Fire Department, Grand Blanc Township Police, Swartz Ambulance, Genesee County Park Rangers, Burton Police, Clayton Township Police, Flint Township Police, and Davison Township Police all attended.

ELGA Credit Union Public Relations Manager Cheryl Sclater got the ball rolling when she heard the child was looking for a new bike for his birthday along with a winter coat, something he didn't have. When she heard he wrote a special invitation to have a few policemen and firemen attend his party she got the word out. "When a special child in our community has a need it takes everyone to rally to make a dream come true. That was what was amazing. It wasn't just one. Everyone said they would be there," said Sclater.

Johnny was showered with hugs, special police swag presents, and yes...a brand new bike. He had one amazing birthday party thanks to incredible people in a community that cares.
