‘Coach’ Star Bill Fagerbakke Voice Behind Sponge Bob’s Patrick [VIDEO]

You would think that being in radio for seventeen years that I would be better at identifying a familiar voice... especially that of one of my favorite actors.  One of my favorite shows that I like to catch in reruns is "Coach," starring Craig T. Nelson, Jerry Van Dyke, and Bill Fagerbakke.  The chemistry between these three Minnesota State coaches and the way they play off each other is hilarious, and the character Dauber is a riot.  While my kids were watching "Spongebob Squarepants," I noticed a familiar voice.

I had to check out the credits and to some web-surfing, but my hunch was correct.  After watching Spongebob for over 10 years now, I can believe I didn't notice until just now that the actor who played Dauber, Bill Fagerbakke, is also the voice of Patrick!  Check out this video from YouTube and see if you can tell.

Another interesting cartoon voice side note... did you know that the actor who played Uncle Phil on "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air," Avery Brooks, is also the voice of Shredder from the original "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" cartoon?
