Oxygen Masks Donated to Linden FD to Help Save Pets – The Good News
The masks come in three different sizes and can be fitted to both dogs and cats.
The Motown Alaskan Malamute Club found themselves in possession of some extra funds recently, so they donated animal oxygen masks to the Linden Fire Department.
Gina Pickett is a member of the club; she's the owner of an Alaskan Malamute named Keo and also a Linden native. The masks are the smaller versions of oxygen masks used on humans and most smaller fire departments don't have the money for them.
Pets are family for most of us, so it's nice to know that in a situation like a fire emergency, those who save us can also save our fur babies.
