One person is dead after shots were fired during a funeral Saturday at the Full Gospel Church on MLK Boulevard in Flint. Funeral services were being conducted for Gerrell Tyler, whose death was the 66th homicide in Flint in 2012, tying the record set in 2010.

Deborah Blakely, speaking of the rampant violence that plagues Flint, summed it up perfectly for ABC-12, saying, "Mothers and fathers should get together with their children and find out who they have been with and what the are doing.  Mostly of all it is too easy to get a gun off the street and it is just more than them being hurt.  It's the families who are being hurt by it."
