A property dispute between a small township in Ohio and a neighboring farmer has been settled by cutting a township building in half.

Brett Galloway is in disbelief.

“It is pretty much the most ridiculous thing ever,” Galloway tells Fox 8 in Cleveland.

He contends that Ruggles township constructed a building partially on his property.

Galloway says he tried negotiating with the township but was unable to reach an agreement. So last week township officials sliced through the building and constructed a fence on the property line.

About one-third of the building is on Galloway's property. Ruggles officials say they plan to tear down the portion of the storage facility that remains on the township's side and start over.
