Ohio Teacher Impregnated by Pupil After Three-Year Affair [VIDEO]

A former Ohio teacher is behind bars after authorities say she began a sexual relationship with one of her students while he was in the 8th grade. Laura Cross is reported to have had a baby with the teenage boy while he was her student.

"It was a straight failure from the system," the teen's father tells Cleveland's News 5. "From the school and definitely from the police."

The boy's mother -- the custodial parent -- allowed the teen to move into Cross' home, under a court-approved 'partial parental custody' agreement.

Cross faces three counts of sexual battery, over a three year period.
