Nike Signs First Runner with Cerebral Palsy – The Good News [VIDEO]
And the moment that he finds out is priceless.
Justin Gallego was born with cerebral palsy, a neurological disorder that adversely affects his muscle movement and coordination.
But that has never stopped him from running. His father says that, in his early days, he would fall a lot. But he'd always pick himself back up and keep going.
He now runs a seven-minute mile with the University of Oregon Running Club.
This past weekend, a Nike representative was there after a practice run to tell him that they wanted to sign him as one of their professional athletes.
He is Nike's first athlete with CP.
