New Jobs In Flint Could Be Coming From GM Announcement Today [VIDEO]

New jobs in Flint? GM expected to make an announcement today.

General Motors will announce, today, plans for that multi-million dollar expansion here in Flint. It looks like new jobs could be created here at the Flint Assembly location. We can speculate all day..but GM has confirmed it will be a large paint shop.

GM had said it will spend $124 million on the paint shop, but one person close to the project has heard it could be more than $400 million. To start with it looks like it's going to create about 1,000 construction jobs. Groundbreaking is expected to take place in April and it could be the biggest construction project in Flint since Buick City was built in the 1980s.
