Netflix Is Getting An Original Series About Autism

"Atypical" will begin filming later this year in Los Angeles. 

The comedy series will star Jennifer Jason Leigh as the mother of Sam, a young man on the autism spectrum, played by Keir Gilchrist (who you may have seen in It Follows and United States of Tara).

So far, it looks as though there aren't any actors who are actually on the spectrum cast in the show, but maybe that will change. Interested to see this one!
