You'll be singing Neil Diamond's 'Sweet Caroline' it in your head for the rest of the day, but that's OK for a couple of reasons:

  1. It's a great song, regardless of your age or musical taste, and
  2. It's another reminder to wash your hands.

Neil Diamond has adapted the words to his iconic song 'Sweet Caroline' to reflect the importance of handwashing and social distancing.

Bum, bum, bum!

With only an acoustic guitar (and an adorable pooch mugging the camera) Diamond shared the new version of the song on YouTube singing, "Hands ... washing hands" in place of "touching" hands.

Bum, bum, bum!

And then goes on to alter the classic line "touching you, touching me" to the more socially-conscious lyric "Don't touch me, I won't touch you."

Bum, bum, bum!

Thank you, Neil. We could all use something to make us smile and this did the trick.
