Frosty and Rudolph Have a New Address – Here’s Where to Find Them This Year
Your favorite Christmas classics are changing channels this year.
Settling in on a cozy evening to enjoy 'Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer' and 'Frosty the Snowman is likely a cherished memory you make with your kids, grandkids, or maybe nieces and nephews every year.
Now, for the first time in five decades, CBS will not air these holiday animated classics. But don't worry - TV viewers in Michigan aren't going to be left out in the cold.
How Did CBS Lose the Rights to Frosty and Rudolph?
News that CBS lost the rights to televise the two beloved Christmas specials came just days after Disney emerged as the winner of a bidding war for the rights to air and stream the Grammy Awards beginning in 2027, according to The Desk.
They go on to say that CBS is owned by Paramount Global, which is in the process of massive layoffs and cost-cutting measures.
