Motorcycle Ride This Weekend for Burton Couple Injured in Hit-And-Run

The ride will start in Burton and end at the Montrose Pub.

On June 30th, RJ and Courtney Ryan were riding their motorcycle when they were hit at a stop sign in Burton by an SUV, which fled the scene. Ryan's leg had to be amputated below the knee; Courtney had several broken bones and a deep laceration in her leg.

An Ortonville man was arrested for the hit-and-run.

This Saturday, friends and family will be hosting the Ryan Family Ride, starting at Rocky's in Burton and ending at the Montrose Pub to raise money for their medical bills.
