In the words of Michael Buble, "I've had my run, baby I'm done, I gotta go home."

Fort Gratiot resident Lisa Ullenbruch was out for a walk with her foster dog when they realized that there was a cat following them.

She was having a hard time holding her dog back, so she got a flashlight to get a better look at the kitty...who looked just like her cat who had gone missing in 2014.

She called the cat by name, Sheiba, and the cat came running and followed them home.

Lisa quarantined the cat and took her to the vet, where they found her microchip and said that she's in great shape. Lisa is thinking that somebody found her and took care of her; she had thought that Sheiba may have been hit by a car years ago.

She wants whoever took care of her cat to know that she's okay, and also wants to encourage people to check for microchips.

WELCOME HOME, KITTY!
